CPT Marker,

Thank you very much for contacting me concerning supporting my soldiers. I
have been out touring other parts of the country recently and haven't been
able to respond as quickly as I needed to. I have no problem with anyone
wanting to assist my soldiers. I am trying ot find out what a majority of
them need. We get great food everyday here and the PX stocks most everything
we use. I did hear that a lot miss the SUN-DROP and CHEERWINE drinks from
back home. That has been one of the most requested items. If that was
possible I would happy to distribute them to the troops.

Second email from Sgt. Loftis

Other than the e-mail I sent, I have identified another way of assisting the
soldiers in my unit. We are spread out all over this country in the northern
parts. They have phone centers at most of the bases thay stay while working
on their assignment. They could use some AT&T phone cards or some
international phone cards to give them access to their families back home. For the most part we are very blessed to have most everything we need here where we are.

It only when they go to different work sites that they may not have access to purchase phone cards or DSN lines to the hometowns.
We really don't have alot of needs here, but I do know most of the soldiers
would rather have something for their families back home.

Sorry to just ramble on however, we don't need lots of stuff here. We would
like to make sure our families are taken care of back home is what most of
the soldiers would like to have happen. Please feel free to share this
e-mail with the folks. I should be here for a few days so my e-mail should
be more available.
Thanks for all you do for us while we're away.
Donnie

Thanks again for your assistance in supporting our soldiers,

First Sergeant Donnie Loftis
