 Hello to all,

I was in a briefing today and as I was thinking about the areas we will be patrolling I thought I would add a note about where I am. I know most of you remember from Sunday-school so here it is. My sector is in the hot zone that is Northern Babble/Southern Bagdad. This sector is bordered on the East and West sides by the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and on the North and South by Bagdad and Babble. The original Garden of Eden is thought to have been around here somewhere. Here is where so much of the early civilization started. Everything from the tower of Babble to Gilgamesh, Babylon and Err of the Caldees. I think they have been fighting here from Cain and Abel’s time.

The people are dirt poor and have so little. One of the popular places around our camp is our trash dump. As it turns out it’s also a safe area now that we let the people dig through it. An unopened MRE dish or a thrown out can of beans is golden to them and the kids will fight over them. We make our food donations by putting unopened food in the trash. We can't give them food directly because of the way they think. I won't go into the details. You can not use our logic to decide how to handle things here. You can not reason with the unreasonable. If we give people food once, they come back and demand it later. Heck, we can't even through candy to the children because the next convoy behind will gets shot up if they don't throw any.

I need to go and prep things for tomorrow. I am good. My guys could use your prayers.
